The SAH Lilas group announces a turnover of more than 625 million dinars at the end of September
As of September 30, 2022, the cumulative consolidated revenues of the SAH (Lilas) group reached 626.5 million dinars, up 27.7% compared to 2021. Sales in the third quarter reached 222.9 million dinars, up 49.2% compared to the third quarter of 2021.
The increase in cumulative consolidated revenues is particularly driven by Azur Papier, whose revenues (restated for inter-group sales) have more than doubled between September 2021 and September 2022, driven by the exceptional growth in its export sales of 132.3%. Such growth is explained, among other things, by the coming into operation of Azur Papier's second line.
Azur Detergent's sales amounted to 126.3 million dinars, an overall growth of 16%. These were boosted by the increase in exports by nearly 100% on September 30, 2022 compared to September 30, 2021, thanks in particular to the consolidation of exports to Libya and the achievement of considerable sales to Saudi Arabia.
It should be noted that SAH Tunisia witnessed a remarkable performance, with revenues recording double-digit growth or +21.3%.
Also, the Libyan subsidiary continues to consolidate its performance by recording a growth of more than 53% on its sales as of September 30, 2022. SAH Algeria achieved a good performance during the 3rd quarter of 2022 with sales up 38.3% compared to the 3rd quarter of 2021, bringing overall growth to 15.7% as of September 30, 2022 (compared to 5.3% as of June 30, 2022).
At the level of sub-Saharan subsidiaries, SAH Côte d'Ivoire and SAH Senegal continue to report good commercial performances, with sales up 10.7% and 118%, respectively.
The breakdown of consolidated revenues (restated for inter-group sales) by subsidiary shows that SAH Tunisia contributes 54.5%, followed by Azur Detergent and Azur Papier whose sales represent 20.2% and 12.9% of overall sales, respectively.
